If you think you’ll lose clinical skills...

Far from it. It’s where your clinical skills will be tested, valued and invested in through courses such as wound management, venepuncture and end of life care. And as part of a close-knit, multi-disciplinary team, our supportive culture means you’ll learn on the job too.

If you think your nursing career will stand still...

You’ll be surprised. Caring for people comes naturally to you, but we understand that our nurses care about their career growth too. As well as expert clinical training and revalidation support, we offer management courses and opportunities, with scope to progress.

If you think it’s the easy option...

It’s not a place to sit back and relax. Don’t worry, there’ll be time to get to know residents, and understand their clinical needs. But whilst 'fast paced’ isn’t always associated with care homes, there’ll never be a dull moment. With us, our nurses thrive.

Not sure if working in a care home is right for you? Find out why joining our talented Nursing team at Bupa could be a great next step in your career.

What you’ll do

What you’ll do

Bupa Care Homes are places where you’re given responsibility to make clinical decisions that improve our residents’ quality of life. And sometimes that means care plans that include visits from Elvis or Zooms with celebrities.

Our residents present with a wide range of complex conditions and rely on our nurses to expertly manage their care. But it’s about more than their clinical needs - you’ll get to know and understand your residents as people too. As you’ll know what makes them tick, your care will have greater continuity and a deeper understanding behind it. You really will become part of the family. So, when we say that our nurses care for our residents, we really mean it.
